Panasonic wanted a non-traditional "branded entertainment" programming series to support the launch of their new Lumix digital cameras. They supported the program series with the largest (at that time) video-on-demand multi-million dollar media buy. The VOD media buy was purchased across Comcast's entire national cable network, reaching millions of Comcast VOD subscribers. The program series introduced the Lumix camera in an entertaining, informative and relevant way to savvy VOD viewers in homes across America. "Panasonic Presents Picture Perfect". Merging Media created a 10-part, short-form, high-definition video program series to demonstrate how consumers can take professional-looking photographs. The series featured entertaining and informative "how-to" episodes on what makes good photography.
